Surfing Over Forty...and Beyond

Fitness thoughts and pursuits of a Gulf Coast Waterman...I surf with guys in their middle to late 50's that rip. What keeps them at that level? What do they do different than a majority of the population? Those are the questions that need to be answered if we are to keep doing the things we love to do at forty, fifty, sixty...and beyond.

About Me

Bill Muldoon
Born in raised in Pensacola, FL I spent most of my youth on the Barrier Island of Pensacola Beach. That is where I began shaping myself to become a 'Waterman'. A Waterman is simply someone who lives, loves and respects the oceans and consequently derives great enjoyment from what the ocean gives back. Family. I have three wonderful Boyz that have begun their waterman training since being born into this world. We live, love and play in and on Santa Rosa Sound, Pensacola Bay and The Gulf of Mexico. It's a Waterman's dream. Careers? Too many to name. I'll give this much...I am a licensed boat captain, state certified Firefighter, certified personal trainer and was licensed to sell insurance (yuk) and have ran a couple of my own businesses along the way. Life is for living and learning I have simply complied. Fitness is always at the top of my list of endeavors. For me to enjoy the things that I love to do it has to be. Being fit ensures that I can enjoy all of my life at a physical level that I enjoy for as long as I can. Lastly for now, I blog this blog to educate, inspire others to pursue fitness as a way of life, for life.
